Senior Expo/Baby Boomer Expo 2010 Sponsorship Opportunities

Looking to meet a large group of senior-serving professionals? Want to get more referrals? Then look no further than these sponsorship packages that are specifically designed to maximize your outreach to professionals in the field of aging.

Each year, the Baltimore County Department of Aging, with ProAging/ Guide to Retirement Living Sourcebook, host a professional/ exhibitor appreciation breakfast to kick-off the Senior Expo/ Baby Boomer Expo. If you are looking to network or build relationships with over 200 senior-serving professionals, please see the attached sponsorship list. Various levels are available.

The Senior Expo attracts a large number of professionals to the event. We have over 150 companies that exhibit. The ProAging- Guide to Retirement Living Sourcebook breakfast is a great place to network.

All proceeds from the event go directly towards the Fund for Needy Seniors. The Fund benefits Baltimore County Department of Aging’s neediest clients and provides them with such necessities as groceries, medications, assistance with electrical turn-offs and more.

The following are considered to be Gold Sponsors:
-Expo Gift Sponsor- only available to two sponsors for $10,000 each- company name will be on 7,500 gifts distributed at the entrance. The gift will be determined by the Baltimore County Department of Aging.
-Expo Flu Shots- $6,000. Flu and pneumonia shots will be provided free to those covered by Medicare B and available for a charge for others. The sponsor will have the opportunity to collect the charges from those not covered by Medicare B and at all 19 Baltimore County senior centers, after Expo.
-Expo Cow Palace Sponsor- $5,000. Your company can place four banners throughout the Cow Palace. The sponsor will provide these banners.
-Expo Entertainment Stage- $5,000. The Entertainment Stage is a focal point for the event and features continuous entertainment by performers, mostly professional musicians. The banner, provided by the sponsor, will be displayed at the stage. Sponsorship of individual performances is also available. Please call for rates.
-Expo Food Court- $5,000. The sponsor’s company can place four banners throughout the Food Court. The sponsor will provide these banners.

The above-mentioned Gold Sponsors will receive the following for their sponsorship:
-logo on all 30,000 flyers
-a free corner or prime booth (subject to availability). Sponsors that paid $10,000 or more will receive one free corner booth and one free inside booth (subject to availability).
-mention in all publicity and advertising
-company name on signage and verbal mention at event
-logo on homepage of Web site
-sign on booth indicating “Gold Sponsor”
-special bolded listing in program guide

The following are Silver Sponsorships:
-Expo Senior Center Area- $3,000. This is an area that showcases a variety of activities taking place at the Baltimore County senior centers. The sponsor can hang one banner (provided by the sponsor) in the area.
-Expo Health Area- $3,000. This is an ideal location for demonstrations or health screenings. Each area is 78’ by 22’ and can be divided by curtains. Up to eight six-foot tables and 16 chairs will be provided. Flu shots or pneumonia vaccines may not be given, unless the provider is also the flu shot sponsor. The cost for each area is $3,000. More than one area may be purchased.
-Expo Entrance Sponsor- $3,000. The sponsor’s banner will be hung at the main entrance to the Cow Palace.

The above-mentioned Silver Sponsors will receive the following:
-logo on 30,000 flyers
-special bold listing in program guide
-mention in all publicity and advertising that has to do with specific area being sponsored
-logo on homepage of Web site
-sign on booth indicating “Silver Sponsor”

The following are considered Bronze Sponsorships:
-Expo Information Table- $2,000. The sponsor can place a banner above the information table that is located near the entrance in the Cow Palace.
-Expo Celebrity Guest- Cost to be determined. The sponsor will pay for a celebrity guest to appear at Expo. This guest must be approved by the Department of Aging.
-Expo Bag Sponsor- $500 and provide 7,500 pre-approved bags with your logo.
-Expo Breakfast- $2,000 or the cost of the breakfast. The Department of Aging has a free continental breakfast on Wednesday morning. The attendees of the breakfast include professionals, business owners, students and others interested in the field of aging. Usually over 200 people attend.  The sponsor’s banner (provided by the sponsor) will be hung during the breakfast.

-logo on 30,000 flyers
-logo on homepage of Web site
-sign on booth indicating “Bronze Sponsor”
-special bold listing in program guide
