Keswick Multi-Care Center Hires Susan L. Push as Director of the Keswick At Home Program

Baltimore (Aug. 2, 2007) — Keswick Multi-Care Center, a long term care facility in north Baltimore, is pleased to announce the hire of Susan L. Push as Director of Keswick At Home. The Keswick At Home initiative includes both home health care and in-home geriatric care management programs for seniors.

In this new position, Ms. Push will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Keswick At Home program, including budget, family contracts and the hiring of registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and social workers who go into the home to care for seniors contracted with the program.

Ms. Push brings extensive social work and home healthcare experience to her new position at Keswick. Originally from New York City, Ms. Push spent years providing home healthcare for seniors in the New York area. After moving to Baltimore, Ms. Push managed the inpatient psychiatric department at Union Memorial Hospital before becoming manager of the hospital’s home healthcare division.

“Susan brings the right combination of experience and training to this position,” said Libby Bowerman, CEO of Keswick Multi-Care Center. “Her long-time work with seniors, her patience and her outstanding leadership skills have made her the ideal candidate to oversee this initiative.”

Ms. Push is a registered nurse; she has a master’s degree in public health education; she is certified in hypnosis; and she is a licensed acupuncturist.

Keswick Multi-Care Center Announces the Hire of Renee Joyner as Director of Nursing

Baltimore (July 25, 2007) — Keswick Multi-Care Center, a long-term care facility in north Baltimore, is pleased to announce the hire of Renee Joyner as Director of Nursing. As Director, Ms. Joyner will oversee all aspects of the facility’s nursing services department.

Ms. Joyner brings extensive nursing care experience to her new position at Keswick. Previously, Ms. Joyner spent eight years at Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Baltimore as both the Director of Resident Care Services and Director of Nursing. In these positions, Ms. Joyner supervised all aspects of the facility’s nursing care program, including nursing, social services, admissions and clinical nutrition services.

“Renee possesses the experience and leadership skills needed to guide Keswick’s nursing department and confront the daily challenges of this position,” said Libby Bowerman, CEO of Keswick Multi-Care Center. “She combines a much-needed balance of competency and compassion to supervise the nursing staff while simultaneously caring for our residents and their families.”

Ms. Joyner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore and a degree as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore.

Ms. Joyner lives in Woodlawn in Baltimore County with her four sons, ages five to 15, and her husband. In her spare time, Ms. Joyner enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
