Distance: 2,490 miles, Roosville, MT, to Antelope Wells, NM

Prior to starting medical school at UCLA, this summer I am planning to bike the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route — the longest off road bike path in the world. The path stretches approximately 2,490 miles from Mexico to Canada. The purpose of the trip is to raise money and awareness of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. It is a fundraiser that I deeply believe in since it is both a disease that has affected my grandfather and it is currently my top interest and reason for pursuing a career in medicine.
