The National Aging in Place Council is pleased to announce the launch of our new web site, at www.naipc.org. The site can be accessed from ageinplace.org and seniorsafehome.com, and is designed for both consumers and professionals.
Highlights include: an events page highlighting different activities planned for National Aging in Place Week; a news center that contains back issues of Aging in Place News and is linked to Google News Alerts so that you get up-to-the minute coverage of aging in place issues; and a senior resource center for consumers to learn about available resources to help them age in place.
If you’re planning an activity during National Aging In Place Week, but you don’t see it listed on our site, please e-mail me directly.
I hope you enjoy this resource. Please forward the web site address to your friends and colleagues, so that we can help spread the word about its existence. And if there are other types of information that you would like us to add, please don’t hesitate to send me your ideas.
Sincerely,
Darryl Hicks, Associate Director
