Waxter Wisdom is a free workshop series geared toward the older adult population, the disabled and our professionals. The free, full-day, workshop series will take place every month at the Waxter Senior Center.

Waxter Wisdom gives you the opportunity to be your own advocate. By learning the most up-to-date information regarding medical & financial matters, you are able to make informed decisions regarding your life. Professionals and consumers of Baltimore City are encouraged to attend.

Workshop Objectives:

Credit Reports and Credit Scores by Deanna Booker: Learn what information is included in a credit report, how to read it, how to dispute inaccurate information, how a credit score is calculated, how to build positive credit history, and what impact your credit has on everyday life.

Social Security, Project SAFE and New Regulations by Aziza Gary: There are a lot of changes happening in the financial industry that will directly effect our Senior population. This session will ensure that you are not left behind, exposed and vulnerable.
