“MEDICAID: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW” – A NARC CEU Class at Friendship Terrace, Thursday, April 5th, 12 noon to 2:00 PM. Lunch will be served.

Whether you provide health care services and supplies or help senior clients with financial services, you are faced with issues of reimbursement for services and how to prepare for the likelihood of future health care costs. “Medicaid Planning” has become a common term you need to understand. This session, taught by Elder Law Attorney Mindy Felinton and Clinical Social Worker Shirley Tabb, will address the planning issues of Medicaid eligibility, procedures and reimbursement, government treatment of income, transfer and protection of assests and the use of tursts and annuities. This program is FREE to N.A.R.C. members(National Association of Retirement Counselors), $39 for non-members. To register contact Alan Dubow at info@narconline.org or call 703-566-5646. Friendship Terrace Retirement Community is located at 4201 Butterworth Place, NW in Washington, DC just two blocks from the Tenleytown Metro Station.
