Fresh from the Consumer Electronics Show’s Silver Summit, we are happy to bring you experts in the business of technology in aging to let you know what’s new for 2012. According to Forrester Research, U.S. adults 64 and older who bought technology in a recent three-month period spent an average of $365 on consumer electronics products and $429 on computer hardware and peripherals. And Forrester points out that Americans 55 to 64 are more active in online finance, shopping and entertainment than those under 55.

The Private Duty Homecare Association (PDHCA) and technology expert Laurie Orlov of Aging in Place Technology Watch have come together with Merrily Orsini, MSSW to share with you information and tips on how to integrate technology to help increase safety in the home as well as an overview of new products for 2012.

In this webinar attendees will learn:

• When technology can help seniors age safely

• How to start integrating into the home

• What product types are commonly used

• What’s new for 2012
