“Behaviors as Communication?”
Jennifer Lubaczewski FitzPatrick, speaker.

Caregivers and healthcare professionals are frequently frustrated by the behaviors exhibited
by individuals living with dementia. When we understand that these challenging behaviors
are sometimes the only way the person can communicate, it can help us develop more effective
responses. Join us for this informative program on interpreting body language, reading signals
and deciphering the mysterious behavioral language of dementia. A complimentary supper
will be served.

Jennifer Lubaczewski FitzPatrick is founder of Jenerations Health Education, Inc., adjunct
instructor at Johns Hopkins University and educational consultant for the Alzheimer’s Association.
She will guide attendees on understanding and managing the difficult behaviors that often
accompany memory loss.
This program offers 1 Category I social work CEU. ALM & NAB/NHA credits are pending.
