Ethics: Community-based practice is a 3-hour interactive workshop that introduces and explores how a society creates an ethical environment to safeguard the individual, family and community and discusses if our contemporary society has established a meaningful and operational ethical community environment.

Participants will learn:

To review the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics
To outline the components of a moral or ethical environment
To identify the foundations of ethics within the community
To discuss professional ethics within the modern electronic communications and social networking channels
To explore ethical principles and standards within today’s health care system through case studies and group discussion
