Senior Living Communities should not be viewed as “institutions” they are “learning institutions”

Athough she retired from teaching college years ago, this assisted living resident is still teaching us life lessons.

Many people drive by an assisted living residence or a skilled nursing center and view them as an “institution” or “facility” and not as someones home. Well,  if these settings are to be viewed as “institutions” they need to be viewed as “learning institutions”.

The brief video below features some great words of wisdom from Patricia Enid Rose Low who calls Symphony Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care in Baltimore, Maryland home.   Patricia is a retired professor from Morgan State University, and as  you can see she hasn’t stopped teaching us some important lessons!
