Volunteers Needed For Training at Riderwood
Help Riderwood Activities Program by mobilizing volunteers to use a computer-based system called, “It’s Never Too Late (IN2L), which allows our residents to email, share their life stories, and play interactive games. The volunteers will be fulfilling the need for a constructive social interaction for our Renaissance Gardens (assisted living and skilled nursing) residents.
This is a one-year, full-time commitment as a member of AmeriCorps (the “domestic Peace Corps”). The service year offers extensive training, a $13,000 living allowance, and a $4,725 post-service education award. This program is a partnership between Riderwood and Volunteer Maryland!, a program of the Governor’s Office.
