The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the major technology-related trade show held each January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Not open to the public, the show typically hosts previews of products and new product announcements. Products such as the VCR, Plasma Televisions, and countless others are debuted at CES over the years.
While CES may have a reputation for showcasing products for “gadget geeks” it has become a venue to review technology related to healthcare, connected homes and other products. Venues like the Silvers Summit have been organized at CES. This year SourceBook publisher, Steve Gurney will be covering the show on his blog at www.EveryoneisAging.com. He states, “I am excited to see the cutting edge applications of technology and explore how they can be applied to all generations and abilities.”
In the new year SourceBook has made a committment to continue to embrace new technology and ideas and help our readers and provider network think outside the box to raise the bar on how we look at elderhood in the future.
