Second D.C. nursing home this year may shut down

A second D.C. nursing home since March has requested city approval to shut down, following on the heels of a Northwest nursing center that’s dwindled to half its size.

Grant Park Care Center, the city’s third-largest nursing home which is drawing up its closure plans, is still likely months away from getting the D.C. Health Department‘s green light to switch off its lights for good.
