Timonium, Md.March 2, 2006 — Tracey Veihmeyer has joined the Stella Maris as the Director of Development. Veihmeyer brings with her more than 16 years of development and fundraising experience.
As an experienced fund development professional, Veihmeyer also manages donor relations and several special events including the annual Wine Tasting and Crab Feast.

Prior to her employment at Stella Maris, Veihmeyer was the Director of Public Relations and Development at Laurel Regional Hospital for more than 16 years. Veihmeyer earned her bachelor’s of arts in communications from University of Maryland, College Park and resides in Sykesville, Md.

In addition, Jennifer Casper-Bourgeois has joined Stella Maris as the director of the Senior Day Center. Casper-Bourgeois brings with her 20 years of geriatric health care experience.

Prior to her employment at Stella Maris, Casper-Bourgeois was the executive director of the Deerfield Senior Day Center in Parkville, Md. She resides in Forest Hill, Md. with her husband and two sons.

Stella Maris’ well-recognized services include: a senior day center, senior living facilities, home care, long term care, rehabilitation and recovery services, Alzheimer’s care and hospice care. Since Baltimore’s Archbishop Keough called on the Sisters of Mercy to administer Stella Maris in 1953, the vision has been to build Stella Maris into the leader in senior care and housing through service based on exemplary medical care, compassion, trust and respect. These values continue to form the foundation of Stella Maris’ efforts.
