People on the Move – Traditions Of America At Liberty Hill Wins 6 Awards
Traditions of America at Liberty Hill, a 55 and over community in State College, PA, took home a total of 6 local awards this week from the 2012 Builders Association of Central Pennsylvania Parade of Homes. Traditions was recognized for having the finest new homes for sale in Central Pennsylvania, with one single family home design and one attached home design pronoun ced “the best” by judges.
* “The Washington” single family home model won three awards in the $311,000-$500,000 category. It was recognized as the Best Home in that price range and honored with Best Kitchen and Best Master Suite awards. (Video tour at http://bit.ly/WashVid)
* “The Abigail” garden home model was named the Best Home in the under $311,000 category. It also was honored for the Best Kitchen and Best Master Suite. (Floor plan at http://bit.ly/AbigFP)
Both floor plans feature expansive kitchens with walk-in pantries and kitchen islands. The master suites are oversized. The Washington’s master suite includes a dressing area, walk in closet and luxurious master bath.
“Our new home designs begin with the needs and desires of active, over 55 homeowners,” said Nathan Jameson, Director of Operations, “so we feel like these awards really recognize Traditions of America’s efforts to listen and respond to market demand.” Jameson noted that the Abigail plan was tweaked a few years ago in response to input from single women homeowners. It is now one of the best sellers at Traditions of America at Liberty Hill in State College.
