People on the Move – The Terraces at Edenwald Celebrates Grand Opening
TOWSON, Md. (June 11, 2008) — For more than 125 years, Edenwald has set the standard for retirement living. Building on that tradition, Edenwald celebrated the grand opening of The Terraces at Edenwald, a 12-story high-rise featuring spacious, maintenance-free apartment homes, on Wednesday, June 4.

Attending The Terraces grand-opening event were Baltimore County Executive James T. Smith, Jr., who presented Edenwald President Sal J. Molite Jr. with an executive citation, Del. Susan L. M. Aumann, who recognized Edenwald with an official citation saluting Edenwald’s commitment to continuing care needs in Baltimore County, Arnold Eppel, director of the Baltimore County Department of Aging, who spoke to attendees on how Edenwald was leading the way in senior living and a representative from the office of Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger who honored Edenwald with a certificate of special recognition during the ceremony.
“Today marks the culmination of several years of careful planning and construction to offer area seniors an exceptional place to live that features all the latest amenities and comprehensive health care services onsite,” said Molite. “This is a great day for residents, their families and the community…we’ve definitely set the bar high.”
