People on the Move – THE FOUNTAINS AT WASHINGTON HOUSE ANNOUNCES GRAND RE-OPENING AFTER MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR RENOVATION
The Fountains at Washington House, a Sunrise Senior Living community, will celebrate 36 years of service to seniors and their families, with live entertainment, elegant cuisine, champagne and holiday cheer on Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Fountains at Washington House is a full service, continuing-care retirement community that includes independent living and assisted living apartments and a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Independent residents can choose from nine different apartment floor plans, while assisted living accommodations offer comfortable studios and one-bedroom apartments. The skilled nursing and rehabilitation center includes deluxe private suites, quiet private rooms and semi-private occupancy options. Resident apartments and rooms have been extensively renovated along with all the common areas.
Mrs. Betty Beale, a ten year resident and the Resident Council Treasurer, lists the numerous improvements, “We now have an elegant lobby, a beauty formal and informal main dining room, comfortable Café’/Bistro, a stunning library, our own movie theatre, a peaceful Chapel and a relaxing Beauty Salon”.
