SPRINGFIELD, VA (July 28, 2006) — Greenspring announces the appointment of Robin Gliboff as the community’s new Associate Executive Director. Gliboff, who joined Greenspring in 2003, will take on a position previously held by Will Nance, who was promoted to Executive Director of the community.

Prior to this appointment, Gliboff served as Greenspring’s Director of Resident Life and was responsible for a department that helped residents explore their interests and assists them with needed services. The community functions operating under Resident Life include: Social Work, Wellness, Pastoral Ministries, Gift Planning, Community Television, Volunteer Programs, Intermissions, and Home Health and Home Support.

Gliboff has over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare field and has worked for industry leading organizations including BHMA, LLC and the Partial Hospitalization Program at the George Washington University Medical Center. Before joining Erickson Retirement Communities she was the Director of Clinical Services at Dominion Hospital, where she provided clinical, administrative, and operational oversight to a broad array of behavioral health services.

Gliboff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University, and a Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has presented locally and nationally on a variety of topics focusing on the behavioral health needs of older adults, and has provided training and education on a broad range of behavioral health issues.
