People on the Move – LifeMatters proudly supports 2,400 Mile Bike Ride Across America to
With more than 5 million people in America living with Alzheimer’s disease, there has never been a better time to take action and make a difference. On May 15th in an effort to support the Alzheimer’s Association in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Joshua Elder, with the support of LifeMatters In-Home Care and Assistance, will embark on a 2400 mile bike ride to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
As a provider of in-home personal care and assistance, LifeMatters knows all to well the astounding statistics of Alzheimer’s disease and the devastating impact the disease has on the individual and the individual’s family. LifeMatters was impressed by Josh’s enthusiasm and dedication to his cause and signed up to help Josh surpass his fund raising target of $80,000. Josh’s ride is for a great cause but is also an emotional and physically challenging event. The more financial support our community can provide to Josh’s cause the easier those 2,400 plus miles will seem. To find out more about Josh’s trip, or to donate visit: www.joshuaelder.com
