People on the Move – Keswick Multi-Care Center Hires Robert Aims as New Nursing Home Administrator

Baltimore, Md. (January 29, 2008) — Keswick Multi-Care Center, a long-term care facility in north Baltimore, is pleased to announce the hire of Robert Aims as nursing home administrator. In this position, Mr. Aims will be responsible for ensuring Keswick’s compliance with the state and federal healthcare regulations that are required of a long-term care facility. Specifically, Mr. Aims will oversee the clinical departments of Keswick to guarantee the quality of care for all residents of the facility.

Having worked in health care management for more than 30 years, Mr. Aims brings extensive experience and strong management skills to his position as nursing home administrator. Before moving to Baltimore in 2004, Mr. Aims lived in upstate New York where he managed various health service programs and served as an administrator for two long-term care facilities.

“Bob’s varied healthcare management experience, combined with his leadership philosophy, makes him a good fit for Keswick,” said Libby Bowerman, CEO of Keswick Multi-Care Center. “He is a dynamic, people person who will work well with staff and residents alike.”

Mr. Aims earned a bachelor of science in health planning and administration and a master’s of business, both from Penn State University. Additionally, Mr. Aims is currently a licensed nursing home administrator in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Mr. Aims lives in Edgewood, Maryland with his wife of 35 years. He is president of the Upper Chesapeake-Perry Hall Kiwanis Club and on the Edgewood Community Council. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, target shooting and hiking. He is the father of three and the grandfather of four.

Keswick Multi-Care Center has been serving the Baltimore community for more 125 years. Located on West 40th Street in northern Baltimore City, the campus encompasses a skilled nursing care facility, a rehabilitation unit, an assisted living memory care facility, and an Adult Day Care program.
