People on the Move – JSSA APPOINTS TASHA MUSELES AS CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Rockville, MD—JSSA (Jewish Social Service Agency) has appointed Tasha Museles its new Chief Development Officer.
Museles brings to JSSA 15 years of experience in fundraising in the Washington metro area. In her most recent prior position, she was senior director of development at the Asbury Foundation, overseeing a $5 million endowment campaign for the foundation’s continuing care retirement communities. Earlier, she worked for five years as director of major gifts at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation.
Her professional background also includes experience in planned gifts, communications, marketing, public affairs and event planning. Museles earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a master’s in public administration from The George Washington University.
In 2007, she was a volunteer member of JSSA’s gala committee, actively involved in planning the organization’s largest annual fundraiser.
“Tasha is joining JSSA at a critical time,” said Ken Kozloff, JSSA’S CEO. “Social service needs in our community are rising while fundraising faces new challenges. We have great confidence in Tasha’s ability to work with our board and leadership to map our way through this difficult economic climate. With her help, we will find fresh ways to expand our overall fundraising program.”
