(Annapolis, MD, April 25, 2007) “” Hospice of the Chesapeake recently promoted Sherrill Ross-Wieneke to Vice President of Clinical Operations for the organization. She was previously the Team Leader for North Anne Arundel County.

“It is my honor to announce the promotion of Sherrill Ross-Wieneke to Vice President of Clinical Operations. She has demonstrated remarkable expertise in clinical and administrative leadership during her tenure with Hospice of the Chesapeake,” stated Erwin Abrams, President and CEO of Hospice of the Chesapeake. As Vice President of Clinical Operations, Ross-Wieneke oversees all clinical operations and manages more than 100 employees including nurses, social workers, home health aides, and clinical administrative staff. She is also responsible for the development of policies and procedures for end-of-life care. Ross-Wieneke is also certified in hospice and palliative care.

Ross-Wieneke has worked in the hospice care industry for 16 years. Prior to joining the Hospice of the Chesapeake in 2000, she was the Director of the VNA/Hospice of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg, PA. She attended Averett College in Danville, VA and Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in Allentown, PA. She lives in Annapolis, MD.
