Family & Nursing Care is pleased to welcome two new staff members!

Dawn Seek, Vice President, Operations — A 28-year healthcare veteran, Dawn returns to the Washington area after a brief tenure as Executive Director of an Atria Senior Living Group community in the Annapolis area. Prior to that, Dawn spent many years with Adventist Healthcare most recently as Director of Operations and as Nurse Liaison for IVTx, a home infusion company. Dawn’s experience and expertise in the home care industry are welcome, as Dawn will work to strengthen internal operations and assist Family & Nursing Care as it continues to grow.

Andrea Scholes, Intake Social Worker — New to the DC area, Andrea recently moved from upstate New York. She spent five years at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, near Albany, as a Social Worker and Assistant Admissions Coordinator. Andrea, (who is in the process of transferring her license from New York) will help Family & Nursing Care meet the changing needs of the home care industry. She will work to assist new clients through crisis situations, and better communicate with professionals in the community upon start of service.

Since 1968, Family & Nursing Care has referred caregivers who provide one on one support care to individuals in their own homes, independent and assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals. Family & Nursing Care’s guiding principles are built on compassion, integrity, support, and commitment to delivering uncompromising services.
