People on the Move – Chip Warner the Executive Director of Riderwood
Erickson Living has named Chip Warner the Executive Director of Riderwood, the nation’s largest continuing care retirement community with nearly 3,000 residents in Silver Spring, MD. Warner will be responsible for daily management of all aspects of the community.
Warner served previously as the Vice President of Operations at Erickson’s Corporate headquarters in Catonsville, MD, providing executive support for community-based General Services, Dining Services , Resident Life, and Philanthropy teams across the enterprise.
Warner, who joined Erickson in 2004, served first as the Associate Executive Director and then Executive Director at Cedar Crest, and Erickson managed community in Pompton Plains, NJ.
“It is a privilege to join the Riderwood team,” said Warner. “I very much look forward to working with the residents and staff who make this such a wonderful, vibrant community.”
Warner holds a BS from the United States Naval Academy, an MA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Harvard University. He resides in Severna Park, MD, with his wife Allison and their six-year-old daughter Grace and their two-year-old son Fletcher.
