As many of you know, Arnold Eppel, Director, Baltimore County Department of Aging, is retiring from Baltimore County on May 27, 2009.  Below you will find information regarding Arnold’s Retirement Celebration.  Please feel free to share this with others who may be interested.

 Arnold Eppel’s Virtual Retirement Party

A tribute to older adults as he retires from Baltimore County Government

 Contributions requested by June 26th

 After 28 years of service to Baltimore County Government, Arnold Eppel will be retiring as the Director of the Department of Aging on May 27, 2009. During his 19 years of dedication and vision for the Department, Arnold has maintained a high standard of quality in the production of services, resources and events to assist older adults, caregivers and professionals in the aging field.

 What is a Virtual Retirement Party?

 Arnold would like to make a donation to the efforts of Meals on Wheels with this Retirement Party. Therefore, individuals are invited to send a check (suggested donation $25) in Arnold’s honor by June 26th. Checks will be totaled and presented to Meals on Wheels in July at Atrium Village. All are invited. We hope the donation will be of a size to clearly demonstrate the appreciation of everyone who was touched by Arnold’s enthusiasm, innovation and leadership.

 Checks should be made payable to Meals on Wheels. Contributions should be sent with an optional note for his retirement book to:
