Park deal a boon for Baltimore assisted-living center

The Wesley assisted-living center in Mt. Washington is sitting pretty – on the edge of a future Baltimore City park.

Specifically, the assisted-living facility sits at 221 W. Rogers Ave., overlooking a 48-acre parcel of undeveloped land owned by the University of Baltimore. UB has agreed to lease most of the land to Baltimore as a city park for the next 80 years.

And, the university has agreed in principle to sell limited development rights to The Wesley for a planned expansion.
