MoMA Gives Tours for Alzheimer's Sufferers

“Meet Me at MoMA” is a program offered by the museum to give people with Alzheimer’s and their caretakers a free visit and a guided tour of some of the world-famous paintings “” and perhaps a little mental stimulation. The tours are aimed at people in the early to middle stages of the disease.

“I’ve learned that there aren’t that many places for that kind of meaningful recreation for people with Alzheimer’s,” said Francesca Rosenberg, director of community and access programs in the museum’s education department.
