Men Cited For Marijuana At Assisted Living Center
(AP) CLIFTON, Colo. Three residents of an assisted living center in Clifton were cited on drug charges after allegedly being spotted smoking marijuana.
Authorities said the manager of the Peachtree Assisted Living Facility called Mesa County sheriff’s officials after smelling pot smoke inside the center.
Lt. Jim Fogg said none of the three claimed to be using marijuana for medicinal purposes and reportedly told deputies they just wanted to get high.
Officers cited the men for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, then confiscated the drugs.
The names and ages of the men have not been released.
