Last Chance to Support DC Area Memory Walks
Dear ProAging Members,
Together, we’ve worked successfully to persuade government to provide greater support to people with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and caregivers. As you may recall, this work is very personal for me — as it is for you — because I’ve lost two loved ones to dementia.
This Sunday in Montgomery County, I’ll be participating in this year’s final Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. I’ve already attended the Memory Walks in Prince George’s, Fairfax and LaPlata and the Maintain Your Brain Challenge in the District of Columbia. If you have made a donation or participated yourself in Memory Walk, please accept my heartfelt thanks. If you have not yet had an opportunity to make a donation but would like to do so, it is not too late and please know how grateful I would be for your support. Please help me do my part to improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s; proceeds from Memory Walk go directly to local services to improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
Please visit http://memorywalknca06.kintera.org/ and then click on “Sponsor Participant” to find my page where you can make a secure online pledge of support with your credit card or find a printable form to mail with a personal check if you aren’t comfortable using a credit card online.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you in advance for your support.
