WHAT: Elder Law Series 2006 — a series of six individual seminars addressing critical legal and financial issues impacting the 55+ population, their adult children and providers of services to older adults.

WHEN: Begins Thursday, March 9 at 1:30 pm. Continues for six consecutive Thursdays at 1:30 pm on March 23, April 6 & 20, and May 4 & 18.

WHERE: Holiday Park Multiservice Senior Center, 3950 Ferrara Drive, Wheaton, MD 301-468-4449.

COST: Registration fee is $25.00 for the entire six-part series or $5.00 per seminar. The fee includes the Elder Law Series 2006 Portfolio, information packet, seminar admission and snack provided by the Whole Foods Market of Montgomery County. Space is limited. BACKGROUND: Elder Law Series 2006 is a project of the Montgomery County Department of Recreation’s Senior Programs Department. Now in their sixth year, the County’s Elder Law Seminars bring together leading legal, financial and policy experts for panel discussions on critical issues facing older Americans, their adult children and providers of services to seniors. Previous seminars have been honored with numerous state and national awards.
Due to enormous popularity and strong critical response, the seminars are being expanded into a six-part series this year to address a broader array of key topics and to serve a greater number of people.
