Executive poll: Baby boomer retirement will have biggest impact on workplace in next decade
Executives across the country say the retirement of baby boomer employees will have the greatest impact on the workplace in the next generation.
That’s according to a Robert Half International survey, conducted by an independent research firm of 150 senior executives with the nation’s 1,000 largest companies.
Forty-two percent of those surveyed cited the baby boomer impact. No. 2, at 31 percent, on the list was global business interaction. Outsourcing came in third at 11 percent, followed by remote work arrangements at 5 percent.
