The LTCCC identifies the direct care workforce as a critical component in addressing the increasing long-term care needs in the Fairfax community over the next decade. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Proclamation of June 12 – 16 as Direct Care Worker’s Week is one way to bringrecognition to these valued members of the long term care workforce.

The LTCCC is a voluntary council appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to implement the Long Term Care Strategic Plan for the Fairfax community. The mission of the LTCCC is to provide leadership in meeting the long term care needs in the Fairfax community.
