Conference for Professionals to Be Held
The Baltimore County Consortium for Professional Education in the Field of Aging will present its annual Advocacy Conference on Thursday, December 6, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Sheppard Pratt Conference Center, 6501 North Charles Street in Towson. This year’s theme is “Long Term Care for Today and Tomorrow: Creating a Place to Call Home.”
The conference offers workshops on such topics as “Alternatives to Institutional Long-Term Care,” “Level of Care Issues,” “The Changing Face of Long Term Care: Serving Younger Residents,” “Workforce Challenges in Long Term Care,” and “Changes in Assisted Living Regulations.” Speakers include Robert Blancato, Wendy Kronmiller, and Carol Benner.
Registration is $35, including lunch and CEU’s/CNE’s are available or pending for Social Workers, Nurses and Nursing Home Administrators.
