Aging Mobility Study Launches

A new study at the University of Florida is looking at whether it is possible to ward off a major mobility disability, such as not being able to walk a quarter of a mile, or four blocks, with exercise and health education.

For the study, researchers are looking for sedentary older adults – between the ages of 70 and 89 – who are already at risk of losing their mobility.
