Rebuilding Together Montgomery County is a non-profit that repairs the homes of low-income elderly, disabled and families with children. The work is done by volunteers and is done at no cost to the homeowner. We specialize in home repair, home modifications, emergency repairs, and general maintenance. Our work is done year round. Recipients must own their home and have a household income of no more than $29,000 for one resident, $33,000 for two residents, etc. adding $4,000 for each additional resident. We would like for you to help us get the word out to those who could benefit from our services. Our application can be found on our web site at We will work on approximately 110 houses in 2007 through our spring and fall project days, through our handyman program, and through our Hearts and Hands program (3rd Saturday of each month). Our cutoff date for applications for our spring 2007 projects is November 1, 2006. We do accept applications year round. Please visit our website at I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Also if you would like for me to do a presentation about our program to your group you can reach me at 301.933.2700 or at [email protected] Susan Hawfield Director of Program Services
