“Young At Art” CALL FOR ENTRIES
20th Annual Juried Artists Exhibition

Corporate Partner: Goodwin House Foundation. Presented by the Alexandria Commission on Aging, the Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
PURPOSE To demonstrate to the public that talent and creativity can grow and mature in all of us.
JUROR This year’s juror is William Shran, is the Assistant Dean, Fine Arts, Division of Visual and Performing Arts and Public Services; Assistant Professor of Art/Ceramics; Director, Tyler Teaching Gallery; and Assistant Professor of Art at the Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria, VA.
ELIGIBILITY Open to all metropolitan area residents, age 55 and above. Artists must deliver and pick up work, and leave the work in the exhibit until the end of the show.
AWARDS Cash prizes will be awarded in the following amounts: First Place – $150.00; Second Place – $125.00; Third Place – $100.00; and five Honorable Mentions.
SALES All sales will be by arrangement between the prospective buyer and the artist. Artists are responsible for collecting Virginia sales tax. Sold artwork must remain in the exhibit until the end of the show.
ENTRY Open to original works of art. Work must not have been entered in prior “Young at Art”
REQUIRE- exhibits. Two-dimensional works must be framed and matted if appropriate, and be
MENTS wired and ready to hang.
HOW TO Complete the attached Entry Form which must be submitted when the artwork is
ENTER delivered to the The Campagna Center. The entry fee is $10.00 per artist for up to three works of art. Additional works may be submitted for $5.00 each. Checks only please, made payable to The Campagna Center/RSVP. Entry fee is non-refundable. Each work must have a completed label attached to the upper left-hand corner on the back of two-dimensional works or on the bottom of three-dimensional works.
