About Tel Hai Retirement Community
Established in 1956 by two local Mennonite congregations, Tel Hai enjoys a pastoral setting with easy access to recreation, medical services, shopping and transportation. Our faith tradition and long history for excellent care and well-priced services have created a community that lives its mission—enhancing personal dignity, autonomy and lifelong enrichment as a demonstration of Christ’s love for all persons each day. As an accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) Tel Hai offers peace of mind, great value and a full range of services and program options. This not-for-profit organization offers a variety of residential accommodations in cottage and apartment living as well as an active lifestyle on or off campus. As needs change, Tel Hai can also provide seamless transition to support you. Accommodations in Lakeview Personal Care provide peace of mind while you enjoy three tasty meals each day, housekeeping and transportation services and medication management if needed. You also will find a full schedule of activities, hobbies, fitness and fellowship to enjoy. Our Adult Day Services program operates 7 days each week to provide a safe and appropriate setting for those requiring supervision or respite with activities that are appropriate for your loved one. The Meadows Health Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified and offers access to full rehabilitation services on campus.
Tel Hai—the “Hill of Life”—may be just the place to begin redefining retirement YOUR way now.
Our one-of-a-kind approach to retirement living is enjoyed by more than 500 residents. Tel Hai’s campus offerings feature:
- Residential Living Cottages and Apartments – A wide selection of floor plans are available and residences can be customized to accommodate individual preferences. We also have attractive rental apartments for lower-income seniors who share in all campus activities.
- Lakeview at Tel Hai – Residents have a choice of inviting, personal care residences where we provide meals, housekeeping and linen service, help with daily living needs, scheduled activities, and 24-hour nurse availability.
- Meadows at Tel Hai – We offer 24-hour skilled nursing care in private and semi-private accommodations. In addition, many of the community’s resident health services are administered at the Meadows health care center.
- Outpatient Rehabilitation Services – Occupational, physical and speech therapy programs are provided to residents to enhance mobility and quality of life.
- Adult Day Services – Available to the greater community, our Adult Day Services program provides personalized care to adults with physical disabilities and/or memory loss helping them improve or maintain their level of independence.
- Memory Care – Cognitive impairment support is provided in a loving, secure environment at Heather Gardens, located inside Meadows at Tel Hai.
- Child Day Care – The Children’s Learning Garden is a licensed education center, providing general day care, programs before and after school, and a summer day camp.
