Nestled amidst ten acres of quiet and beautifully landscaped grounds in the Aspen Hill area of Silver Spring, Maryland, Homecrest House is composed of three multi-story apartment buildings of contemporary design.
Homecrest House is a non-profit, non-denominational community of 277 apartments offering many amenities as well as potential subsidies for both rent and services based on n'et income. Activities
A regular schedule of activities and our first-rate facilities engage the passions of our seniors. The computer lab with Internet and library are both well-equipped and accessible for all. Our fitness center, staffed by a trainer, helps residents get the exercise they want. The Homecrest House resident van makes regular trips to nearby shopping centers and other places of interest.
The parties and programs held in the social halls provide occasions for our seniors to socialize. The beauty salon/barber shop affords residents the opportunity to keep themselves looking their best. And the outside gardens & greenhouse offer them the chance to create and enjoy gardening and nature.

Dining
In both of our independent living buildings, residents enjoy a delicious four-course dinner served by HH staff in our beautiful dining room. Our mandatory dinner meal plan features your choice of several nutritious and heart healthy meals--and offers a wonderful opportunity to sociallize with neighbors. In the Edwards Personal Care Community residents are provided with three nutritious meals a day, which include lunch and dinner served in our dining room.

Homecrest House is owned by the community based, non-profit 501(c)(3) National Capital B'nai B'rith Housing Foundation which is overseen by a local, volunteer Board of Directors.
