Overview and Mission Statement

Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center opened its doors in 1972 to serve the community needs for nursing services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, massage therapy, respite and Alzheimer's care. We have expanded our physical facility to give the residents more space and more gracious living. Collingswood offers thirty private rooms, separate dining rooms for each of its four units of care, a family fireplace room, beauty parlor, secured walking garden, and a private room for massage therapy. We have state-of-the-art care for our Alzheimer's residents with an in-house psychologist to do initial assessments and a house psychiatrist, both available to oversee that individualized care is created for the resident. Our dining service is excellent and keeps the personal likes of the resident in mind, being available for that late night snack as well. Activities are varied and done with groups and one-on-one basis to meet the Resident's needs.
