AlfredHouse Eldercare is a group of 8 assisted living homes located in Rockville, Derwood and Silver Spring owned and managed by Dr. Veena Alfred and her family. Our homes are beautifully appointed, maintained and immaculate.   

Alfredhouse Shalom offers a glatt kosher kitchen and Jewish environment in the heart of Kemp Mill.

We have a 20-year track record caring for elders with cognitive and memory impairment, medical conditions, and/or mental or behavioral issues.  Many of our residents have been with us for many years and stay with us to the end of their lives.

Our 1 caregiver to 4 resident staffing ratios are far beyond industry standards and allow for truly personalized, attentive, compassionate care.

Our monthly charges include:

·         24 hour caregiving

·         Full time RN

·         Assistance with activities of daily living, such as: bathing, dressing, eating and using the bathroom

·         Medication administration and management

·         3 meals each day and snacks, prepared from scratch

·         Special diets as prescribed

·         Housekeeping and laundry

·         Incontinence care

·         Lively activities program including music, movement programs, and entertainment

·         Group exercise with physical therapist 5 days per week

·         Transportation
