About Somerford Place for Alzheimer's and Related Dementias
Welcome. Somerford Place is an inviting and therapeutic residential alternative for people with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias. Built from the ground-up specifically for people with memory loss conditions, Somerford Place offers an empowering environment that fosters independence and builds self-worth.The people of Somerford are experts in dementia care, driven by their passion for caring and love for adults with memory loss. Every staff member has completed the Somerford ConnectionsT training program and participates in monthly continuing education sessions.
Our approach to assisted living and Alzheimer's care starts with a focus on learning the unique needs and preferences of every resident, promoting individuality and independence.
As you discover that we have exceptional people providing quality services in accommodating, comfortable surroundings, you'll learn how we make every moment matter.

* 24 hour care for your loved one in a secured environment * Plenty of outdoor spaces and walking paths * Three nutritious meals per day plus healthy snacks * Weekly housekeeping, laundry, and linen service * Building designed specifically for memory impairment * Trained staff to help meet the residents needs * All utilities except Telephone and cable * Activities that are tailored to help keep the residents minds active * Monthly Educational Seminars and support groups for families
