My name is Mary Ellen Jones and I bring to HomeCareConnection the unique perspective of having worked in senior living communities for many years.
Having been responsible for sales and marketing, I had the opportunity to meet and work with hundreds of families who were looking for help for their aging parents. The most rewarding aspect of that career was getting to know prospective residents and their family members. Hearing their specific situations gave me an empathy for and an understanding of how difficult it is when our parents reach a point when they can no longer be alone. I saw how hard it was for all involved to come to grips with having to go outside of the family for help. I also saw the struggle of some of the parents who wanted to stay in their own homes. They clearly didn’t want to be uprooted from all that was familiar, but they also didn’t want their children to worry about them.
Over the years, I saw that while community living was wonderful for some folks, it was not the solution for everyone. I came to believe that staying home could be the better choice and HomeCareConnection was born. I envisioned a homecare company that would provide the ultimate in customer service and that our clients would get the best care possible. I believe our senior population have made invaluable contributions to all of us and deserve the utmost in quality services dellivered with dignity and respect. Because of that I have set the bar high for client satisfaction–unlike other companies, when you call HomeCareConnection, the phone will be answered around-the-clock by someone who can help.
