About The Hospice of the Abramson Center for Jewish
THE HOSPICE ...CARE, COMFORT, DIGNITY AND SUPPORT A non-sectarian program of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life The Hospice of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life provides skilled and compassionate end-of-life care to individuals in their own homes, in hospitals, or in senior communities. You are eligible for hospice care if your physician determines that you have a life expectancy of six months or less. Most health insurance covers hospice care. We are experienced providers of care and honor the religious traditions of each patient and family. Services include: * Skilled nursing care for pain management and symptom control * Specialized pharmacy services * Medical equipment and supplies * 24-hour on-call support by a hospice registered nurse * Personal care by trained hospice aides * Spiritual support by chaplains * Counseling and emotional support * Trained hospice volunteers for friendly visiting * Bereavement counselingFeatures
