About Ivory House Health Services

Compassion isn't just a word to us: it's the foundation for everything we do. These can be difficult, emotional decisions, and we completely understand. Our management team has an extensive background in nursing, counseling and caring, and everyone who works directly with our clients has a healthcare background.

More importantly, our skill level is matched by our level of caring: we want to support our clients and their families in every way we can, act as advocates and resources, help resolve crises and avoid future problems.

In short, we become almost like family: family with knowledge, objectivity and advice that comes from extensive experience. The need for Care. Why are we here? Because the statistics say the need for our services is large and growing. For example, more than 26% of the adults in this country provided care for an elderly, chronically ill or disabled family member or friend last year, according to the National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA). And, according to the NFCA, as many as three-fourths of family caregivers are going it alone, with little help from friends or other family members.

Skilled Care Management
Our care management begins with an in-depth, individualized needs assessment which is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. After evaluation by a nurse with years of experience, we present a tailored, holistic plan of care to meet both immediate and long-term needs. We evaluate everything: health history and current status, nutritional, psycho-social, spiritual and cultural needs, personality, safety and support systems.

Is it safe to remain in the home? Are there therapeutic alternatives worth exploring? How can life be made better for everyone? Which facility might be the best choice? Should a legal or financial professional be contacted for advice, planning or other services? Whatever the question, we can provide the information you need to make an informed decision. Help when needed. Maybe the answer is more than just information. Maybe the answer is additional care in the home or in a facility. We can help. Every member of our care-taking team is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Every CNA is supervised by a registered nurse, to add an extra level of expertise. We work hard to match the caretaker with the patient, and take extra steps to monitor and maintain the quality of care. Whether the need is temporary or long-term, round the clock or a few hours a week, turn to the professionals at Ivory House Health Services.
