Call now or email for immediate assistance and consultation. Mission Our mission is to inform, plan, coordinate and implement a Plan of Care that meets our clients’ immediate and future needs with the focus of quality of life enhancement. If some or all of the following questions apply to your situation, you may wish to consult with a Certified Geriatric Care Manager: •Have you noticed changes in your parent’s health and functional abilities? •Has their condition worsened of late? •Are you at a loss of what to do? LET SENIOR CARE PLANNING SERVICES HELP YOU DURING THIS TRANSITION. *About Us* William S. Blacker, GCM, NHA, is Founder and President of Interim Management Associates, Inc., d/b/a, Senior Care Planning Services, a Geriatric Care Management Practice since 1999. Bill spent thirty years as a senior management executive in the Long Term Care Industry where he developed and managed numerous Care Facilities including Assisted Care, Nursing Home and Continued Care Retirement Communities. Five years prior to forming Senior Care Planning Services, Bill operated a Management Firm that specialized in Compliance and Management Re-organization in the Nursing Home Industry. Senior Care Planning Services enabled Bill to apply his many years of Care Management experience as an advocate for senior adults and their families who were desperately attempting to navigate the often-frustrating Long Term Care Health System. One important finding from the Founder’s experience was that clients were often inappropriately placed in Facility care due to being subjected to the “system rather than receiving comprehensive assessments to ascertain the best care options. This was the impetus that fueled Senior Care Planning Services. Senior Care Planning Services often works in concert with various specialists, including geriatric physicians, elder law attorneys, financial counselors, and realtors, in order to provide our clients with a comprehensive overview of their particular situation. In addition to Senior Care Planning Services, Interim Management Associates also operates a non-medical home care service under the name, Home Instead Senior Care (www.homeinstead.com/342). Home Instead Senior Care uses a Client-Customized care program that provides supportive services that assist our clients in maintaining an independent lifestyle while continuing to live in their own familiar surroundings. This service hires, screens, trains and bonds their Caregivers. Our Care Plans are frequently audited by our in-house Quality Assurance staff and revised as needed.
