Job Title: Social Services/Activities

Adult Day Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia seeks creative, compassionate individual to manage social services and assist with conducting meaningful activities for our participants. This full time position is responsible for social assessments, care plans, individual and family counseling, and assisting with planning and implementing daily activities. Our day health center serves up to 34 participants per day, all of whom are in the moderate to advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. The center is located within a mile of the Metro orange line, and offers free parking on-site.

Qualifications: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology or related field with a strong understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and aging. Minimum two years experience in long term care or adult day care.

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package includes health, vacation and retirement plan. Work week is Monday through Friday. EOE.
