Position Available at our Springfield, VA Location:
Speech Language Pathologist
Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, develops, and implements day to day Speech/Language Pathology program to ensure consistent delivery of quality resident care, and is an active member of resident care team and ensures the resident care policies and procedures are followed, in compliance with applicable quality of standards.
Qualified applicants should be able to complete appropriate screening of customers in order to determine whether the individual warrants further, in-depth evaluation/assessment and identify resident care problems and concerns and contributes to short term and long term goal setting and approaches the interdisciplinary care plan. Candidates also need to utilize good reasoning skills to have an appropriate P.O.C. and to make adjustments as needs for changes in patient’s status and must be able to accurately complete billing, timesheets and tally evaluative tests.
Must possess a valid current state license in Speech Language Pathology where applicable or have a certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, current CPR certification and have experience in evaluation/tx of adult population including disorders of swallowing, speech, neurological, hearing and voice.
