The Legacy at North Augusta is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our sales and marketing team in Staunton, Virginia to promote, present and support the sales and marketing staff throughout the sales process. As Marketing Coordinator with The Legacy at North Augusta, you will handle various administrative duties, such as answering phones, copying materials, as well as tasks to support the sales team. This position will be instrumental in creating an environment of exceptional customer service at the front reception.


Additional tasks of the Marketing Coordinator include:


·         Move-in and application process


·         Coordinating all direct mail marketing initiatives


·         Coordinating and implementing all public relations/marketing events Database Entry


·         Producing regular scheduled marketing reports


·         Supervising the work of the concierge department


 As Marketing Coordinator with The Legacy, you will schedule and coordinate marketing and public relations campaigns that include print media advertising, special event coordination and interactions with advertising agencies, designers, printers and mail house providers. You will also plan, coordinate and implement the details for special events with the Catering, Housekeeping and Activities departments as well as outside vendors.


As Marketing Coordinator with The Legacy, you must possess excellent writing and interpersonal communication, time management and organizational skills. Our ideal Marketing Coordinator is forward-thinking and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and values that are reflective of a faith-based organization. You must have compassion, patience, understanding and tact necessary to deal with prospects, residents and their families and be able to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. You must also be able to interpret statistical data, understand marketing trends and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics inference.


Additional requirements for the Marketing Coordinator include:


·         Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications or related field


·         Minimum 2 years supervisory experience


·         Customer service experience required; senior housing experience preferred


·         Strong computer and software proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and strong data entry abilities


·         Dedicated commitment to serving the elderly population strongly preferred
