Position Title: Maintenance Coordinator

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in the maintenance, cleanliness and upkeep of the physical plant including, building, grounds and all engineering. Reports to the Director of Environmental Services.


 


Essential Functions:


§  Attends work as scheduled and follows community’s call-off procedures.


§  Assists and responds to maintenance work orders in the community in a timely manner.


§  Uses the Maintenance Schedule to assist with continuous maintenance of all systems such as, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.


§  Assists with room turnover.


§  Assists with housekeeping duties.


§  Ensures outside grounds are clean and free from debris, including porch areas and courtyards.


§  Assists in the improvement and repair of general building and grounds.


§  Follows daily work plan outlined by supervisor


§  Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.


 


Non-Essential Functions:



  • Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.

  • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

  • Adheres to all policies and procedures of Spring Hills.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General knowledge of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
