Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge, the regions premiere accredited lifecare retirement community, seeks a Director of Resident Services to oversee a comprehensive array of services and programs including, but not limited to, Activities, Beauty Salon, Chaplaincy, Fitness/Wellness, and Transportation.  The ideal candidate will display a gracious, caring, approachable and professional demeanor, with demonstrated ability and compassion to work with seniors, and possess exceptional communication, facilitation, problem-solving and organizational skills.

The Director will provide strategic, financial and supervisory leadership of the department and serves as an integral member of the management team, responsible for the accomplishment of objectives that enhance residents’ quality of life and further the mission and goals of the organization.  A bachelor’s degree, three years financial/budgetary experience and five years supervisory experience is required.  An advanced certification or post-graduate education in social work, gerontology or related human services field preferred.
